Valid has been tabbed as the even-money favorite on the morning line for trainer Marcus Vitali. A six-year-old son of Medaglia d’Oro, he is an eleven-time winner and a multiple graded stakes winner. He has been on the board in all three starts this year and will be trying to break through and earn his first victory. A four-year-old son of Medaglia d’Oro, he was purchased for $875,000 as a yearling and has won three of his eight starts. He will be trying to earn his first black type victory and is stepping back up in class after winning an optional claiming race last time out.
